I'm Joseph, known on Roblox as deathtothestadium. I've spent over 10 years building on the platform, scripting gameplay systems, modeling and building environments, and helping other developers learn how it all fits together. Outside of Roblox I work with my hands too, welding and mechanical engineering, and I bring that same hands-on approach to everything I build here.
What do you actually do on Roblox?
A bit of everything: scripting gameplay systems, modeling and building environments, designing UI, and putting together GFX and music for the projects I work on. I like owning a project end to end instead of just one slice of it.
What's your scripting background?
Lua/Luau gameplay systems, server-client architecture, data persistence, and tooling built to keep large projects maintainable instead of held together with duct tape.
Do you build and model too?
Yeah, environment building, prop modeling, and asset optimization, from blockout to final polish, with an eye for performance on lower-end devices.
Where do the welding and engineering skills come in?
Those are hands-on hard skills from outside of Roblox, but they carry over: thinking in terms of structure, tolerances, and how things actually hold together translates directly into how I build and script.
Do you tutor other developers?
I break down Roblox development concepts for beginners and intermediate developers, from first script to shipped game, without skipping the "why" behind the "how."
