UnofficialRobloxTutor.com ("this site," "we," "us") is operated by Joseph San Nicolas. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

What we collect

Roblox account information

If you choose to sign in to UnofficialRobloxTutor.com using Roblox OAuth, Roblox may provide us with information that you authorize through Roblox's OAuth authorization system.

This may include your Roblox user identifier and other basic account information permitted by the OAuth scopes you approve.

We use this information to authenticate your Roblox account and provide features associated with your Roblox account.

We do not receive or store your Roblox password or Roblox security cookies through OAuth.

Booking information

If you submit the booking form, we collect your name, email address, the service selected, and any notes you provide in order to schedule, deliver, and communicate about your booking.

Phone number

If you choose to provide your phone number, we may use it to contact you about your booking, requested service, or important updates related to UnofficialRobloxTutor.com.

Providing a phone number is optional unless a particular service specifically states otherwise.

We do not sell or rent phone numbers to third parties, and we do not use them for third-party advertising.

If we contact you by text message or phone call, you may ask us to stop receiving phone communications from us. Service-related communications that are reasonably necessary to fulfill a service you requested may still be necessary.

Newsletter

If you subscribe via the footer signup form, we collect your email address to send occasional updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the newsletter.

Reviews

If you leave a review on a purchased item, we collect your name, email address, rating, and review text.

Your email address is used to verify that you purchased the item and is not displayed publicly.

If your review is approved, your name and review text may be displayed publicly.

Contact information

If you contact us by email, Discord, or another communication method, we receive whatever information you choose to provide in that message.

Payment information

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe and/or Cash App Pay.

We do not receive or store your full card number or banking details. Payment information is handled directly by the applicable payment processor under its own privacy policy.

If you are offered a "first hours free" promotion, Stripe may securely save your payment method on our behalf so that you are not charged unless you book beyond the free amount. We do not see or store your full card details.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses two small first-party cookies, plus a third only if you ask for it. None can be read by JavaScript, and none is shared with advertisers.

• sid is a session cookie that recognizes you across pages during a single visit. It supports basic functionality, including remembering your session and, for paid bookings, connecting a payment to the visit that led to it. It expires automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• no-analytics is set only if you choose "Don't count my visits" on the opt-out page. It holds the number 1, and while it is present this site leaves your visits out of its statistics and does not set vid. It expires after two years, or when you turn the choice off or clear your cookies.
• vid is a random visitor identifier. It lets us count how many different people visit the site, and how many come back on another day and how often. It contains a random number and nothing else: not your name, your email address or your IP address. It expires after about 13 months, or sooner if you clear your cookies.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we honor it. We do not set the vid cookie (and we ask your browser to delete one you already have), and your visits are counted only for that day, so they cannot be linked from one day to the next.

We also run first-party analytics on our own server. This may include information such as which pages are visited, how long a page is in front of you and how far down it you scroll, which buttons or links are clicked, approximate click positions on a page, the site you came from, the language and window size of your browser, and the type of browser, operating system and device (read from your browser's standard headers; we do not keep your full user-agent string). We also keep a short-lived log (90 days) of pages that were requested but do not exist, and of automated or suspicious requests such as scanners probing for administration pages; it contains nothing that identifies a person.

This information is associated with the random identifiers above. It is not associated with your name or email address unless you separately submit identifying information through a form or other interaction.

To provide approximate visitor-country statistics, your IP address may be sent to a third-party lookup service, ipwho.is. We use the service to determine the approximate country associated with the IP address. We do not store the IP address for this purpose; only the resulting country name or country code is retained.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, advertising-network tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking.

YouTube videos on this site are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may still receive information when you interact with or play an embedded video.

Files you open in our tools

When you open a file in a tool such as the File Viewer, the file is sent to our server so it can be read. It is held in memory for up to ten minutes, so the tool can answer follow-up questions about it (such as the properties of an object you click), and is then discarded. It is not written to disk or to a database, and we do not look at it. To show a model's meshes and pictures, the server asks Roblox's public asset delivery for the asset ids named in your file; Roblox sees those requests coming from our server, not from you.

How we use information

We use collected information only for legitimate purposes related to operating and improving UnofficialRobloxTutor.com.

This may include:

• Providing and improving our tools and services
• Authenticating Roblox accounts
• Processing and fulfilling bookings
• Communicating about requested services
• Providing service-related updates
• Sending newsletters when you have subscribed
• Verifying purchases and reviews

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We do not use your phone number or email address for third-party advertising.

This site also retrieves publicly available information from Roblox's official APIs and the Roblox DevForum for portions of the portfolio, games, and DevForum-post sections.

That publicly available information relates to the site's owner and is not information collected from visitors.

Data retention

Booking records and other information are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of personal information by contacting us directly.

Some information may need to be retained when required for legitimate business, legal, security, or accounting purposes.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have knowingly collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

Your choices

You may choose whether to provide optional information such as a phone number or newsletter subscription.

You may unsubscribe from our newsletter using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter.

You may also contact us to request deletion of your personal information or to ask questions about how your information is used.
