Drop a Roblox file to look inside it

Open a model (.rbxm, .rbxmx), a place (.rbxl, .rbxlx) or a script (.lua, .luau). See its parts in 3D, browse every object, read its scripts, count what is in it, list its assets and scan it for backdoors.

Up to 100 MB. The file is sent to our server only to be read, is kept for a few minutes so the Explorer can answer, and is never saved.

Roblox File Viewer

Open a Roblox model or place file and see what is in it without opening Studio. It reads both Roblox file formats: binary (.rbxm, .rbxl) and XML (.rbxmx, .rbxlx), and a plain .lua or .luau script.

The 3D View draws the parts, including meshes and textures loaded from Roblox, with the right sizes, rotations and colours, and stays smooth with thousands of parts. The Explorer is a tree of every object with its properties and a search. Scripts lists every script with search across all of them and a download of the lot. Stats counts the parts, models, scripts and meshes and where they are. Assets lists every mesh, image, sound and animation the file points at. The Safety Scan looks through the scripts for what free-model backdoors tend to do, such as loading code by number, loadstring and web calls. It is a set of checks, not a guarantee, so read anything it flags.

Meshes and images are fetched from Roblox's public asset delivery, so only free, public assets can be previewed: a private asset shows as an outline. A file is sent to our server to be read and is kept for a few minutes so the Explorer can answer your questions about it, then dropped. It is never saved.
